Trying a different kind of post

I thought it would be fun to try a different kind of post. Many days I just see a few things that strike my interest but I dont have enough to say about them to make a full blog post. in cases like that, I want to try rolling a few things up into one post. Let’s see how it goes.

A recent study indicates that a surprising number of users essentially disconnect their thinking process when using AI chatbots. Even when the AI was wrong. The study describes this process as “uncritical abdication of reasoning itself.”

The Offbeat Sari

I love when art takes common objects and reconsiders them. This art exhibit examining the sari from every perspective sounds wonderful.

The Web is an Antitrust Wedge

I loved this piece on the potential power of the open web that is simply left on the table even by well-intentioned regulators. I would love to see real genuine competition in the mobile browser space. Even more, though, I am so tired of the press blindly accepting the framing of the incumbents when other approaches could be so much more effective.
